Aquino adopted son of Sapang Biabas-A A +A

MABALACAT CITY -- The barangay council of Sapang Biabas here recently approved a resolution adopting City Councilor Gerald Guttrie Aquino as adopted son of the village.
Barangay chairman Rizalino Garcia and Councilmen Noel Rivera, Esteban Liwanag, Jesus Santos, Efren Mendiola, Alberto Rivera, Pepito Patio and Marissa Sanchez, during their 12th regular session, unanimously approved Resolution 18, series of 2014, "A Resolution Adopting Honorable Attorney Gerald Guttrie P. Aquino, City Councilor of Mabalacat as Adopted Son of Barangay Sapang Biabas, Mabalacat City, Pampanga".
Garcia said the barangay was one of the recipient of various projects and programs of the City Council supported by Aquino.
"Because of the said various projects and programs, many of our constituents received medical assistance, dental assistance, educational assistance and free legal assistance," Garcia said.
He added that Aquino has touched the lives of the residents and he deserve to be a son of Sapang Biabas because of his compassion and concern to the people.
"This is the first time the Barangay Council has passed a resolution adopting a councilor as an adopted son of the barangay. We are proud to call Councilor Gerald Aquino as our Adopted Son," Garcia added.
Aquino thanked the barangay council and constituents of the village.
"Words can't describe my feelings right now, I'm over whelmed with such an honor bestowed upon me by the Barangay Council and people of Sapang Biabas rest assure that I will work even harder to help them specially in providing them free legal advice and I will be there voice in the city council," Aquino said.
Aquino is the author of ordinance imposing all provincial taxes, fees and charges of Republic Act 7160, including Real Property Taxes in Mabalacat City, Pampanga (except for tax on sand ,gravel and other quarry resources) as mandated by its new charter by virtue of RA 10164 and for other purposes.
