CLARK FREEPORT -- The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) has invited members of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC), who will participate in their centennial celebrations, to visit Clark.

In a statement, CDC president Arthur Tugade asked the INC delegates to visit or book at Clark.

The gathering will be held at the newly inaugurated Philippine Arena, the world’s largest dome, which can accommodate more than 55,000 people, in Bocaue, Bulacan.

Tugade made the call in anticipation of the influx of people who will be arriving this week to participate in the INC's grand event.

"Our doors are open for INC members, particularly those who will come from abroad or those who want to try other areas in Central Luzon apart from Bulacan to visit us at Clark and see the changes and opportunities we now have," said Tugade.

"They can also book at Clark as it is the most convenient airport with accessible rides going to Bulacan," he added.

Tugade said the travel time via the Northern Luzon Expressway (NLEx) in Bocaue, Bulacan going to Clark takes about 20 to 30 minutes.

Travelers going to the South Luzon Expressway (SLEx) from NLEx are also assured of easy rides utilizing both expressways, he said.

When the Americans left Clark in 1991, the area became a favorite investor and tourist destination.

The 4,500-hectare industrial and leisure hub provides tourists and vacationers "diverse places to detach and de-stress from the hustle and bustle of urban life," Tugade said.

The Freeport boasts of its hotels, golf courses, leisure parks, resorts and others.
