Fake cop caught selling illegal drugs

MABALACAT CITY --- A suspected drug pusher posing as high-ranking officer of the Philippine National Police (PNP) was arrested in an entrapment operation conducted by the City police recently.

A man named Frederick Pingol Bacani was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Dau.

Superintendent Juritz Rara, chief of police of Mabalacat City, said that he immediately form a team led by Senior Inspector Melvin M. Florida Jr., to conduct an operation for the arrest of Bacani.

Rara said that he received informtion from concerned citizens that Bacani is reportedly selling illegal drugs in Barangay Dau and nearby villages posing as a high ranking police officer.

Bacani was charged with drug pushing and usurpation of authority.

The City police seized suspected shabu worth P10,000 from the suspect's possession.
