Minor nabbed for 'bukas-kotse' modus

Sunday, August 13, 2017

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – A 16-year-old man was arrested on Saturday, August 12, by local authorities after allegedly breaking into a car in Barangay Del Rosario.

Superintendent Roland Agohob, town's chief of police, said the suspect identified as “Ramil” was caught in the act of breaking into a Toyota LiteAce van parked outside the Pampanga Cockpit Coliseum.

The car owner named Elmer Broqueza, 54, reportedly stopped the kid and the supposed burglary.

Broqueza reported the incident to a policeman who arrested the suspect.

Agohob said Ramil was immediately taken to the town police station for questioning and charging on Sunday morning, August 13.

He stressed “Ramil” might be a member of a notorious “bukas-kotse” group which victimizes car owners around the city.

The suspect is now under the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
