Wednesday, September 06, 2017

CLARK FREEPORT -- In a bid to promote Clark as an exciting tourist destination, two travel firms have tied up and launched a two-hour tour package that highlights famous historical sites and cultural spots inside the Freeport.

During a media forum Talk Widus sponsored by Pampanga Press Club and Widus Hotel and Casino, Gilda Padua, owner of Ties That Travel and partner of Go Clark Tours, said the tour package features the evolution of Clark into a special economic zone and business district.

“Go discover the evolution of Clark in a two-hour journey to the past as we bring you to places of historical treasures and cultural values. Be amazed at how an old military ground is transformed into a stunning tourism landscape and a growing business hub in the region.”

Padua said the Go Discover Clark Now, with a rate of P1,200 per person, is about a one-hour tour at the Clark Museum and a film-viewing at Clark 4-D theater.

The package also includes a one hour rolling tour at the Clark Parade Ground, barn houses, Clark Development Corporation Offices, historical buildings, the White House, Mimosa Filinvest Leisure Estate, Bicentennial Park, Clark Sun Valley, FA Korea Country Club, Fontana, The Villages, Nayong Pilipino, Industrial Complex, and commercial area, K9 cemetery, and Lily Hill.

Padua said the journey will end at a buffet meal in participating hotels like Widus Hotel and Casino, Quest Hotel, Xenia Hotel, and others.

The tours are scheduled on Tuesdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interested parties may visit www.gotours.com.ph or call at 0905-337-3864 and 0918-640-7554.
