ANGELES CITY -- The city police has arrested two laborers who were allegedly caught in the act of sniffing shabu in Barangay Santa Teresita here recently.
Jovel Bagsic, 25, a grasscutter, of 7046 Araw Malansik, Santa Teresita and Michael del Monte, 30, a construction worker, a resident of 7002 Araw Malansik, Santa Teresita were reportedly caught by policemen while having a pot session.
At 6:00 p.m., September 10, personnel of Police Station 2 led by Inspector Randy Gomez conducted a patrol at Araw Malansik in said village which resulted to the suspects’ arrest.
A concerned citizen reported to Gomez’s team that there was an ongoing illegal activity inside a residence at 7046 Araw Malansik.
Gomez and his men proceeded to the place to verify the report.
The policemen allegedly saw through the open window two males in the act of sniffing suspected drugs on a folded aluminum foil.
Police confiscated methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as "shabu," and drug paraphernalia from the suspects, who were charged with drug possession and use.
