CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- A former police officer listed as a high-value target in Central Luzon was arrested Tuesday morning, October 3, in a drug bust in Barangay Lourdes, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Senior Superintendent Joel Consulta, Pampanga police provincial director, identified the suspect as Dan Le Mamangun, 37, alias Parak, a resident of said village. The suspect is a former police officer 1.
Consulta said after a series of surveillance and monitoring of the Pampanga Police Public Safety Company and Drug Enforcement Unit of San Fernando with proper coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Luzon, Mamangun was successfully arrested.
He said the suspect is also involved in a series of robbery hold-up incidents in the province and marked as absent without leave in the Philippine National Police.
At least 15 sachets of "shabu" (methamphetamine hydrochloride) were confiscated from Mamangun plus the marked money of P500. (Ric Sapnu)
