CLARK FREEPORT --- The Social Security System (SSS) has started implementing its electronic collection system (e-CS) to provide real-time posting of contributions in various branch teller facilities and other payments channels.
This was disclosed by Gloria Andrada acting SSS Vice President for Luzon Cenral 2 Division, during a media forum dubbed Talk Widus of the Pampanga Press Club (PPC) held at the Park Inn by Radisson Clark last Tuesday.
Adrada said that all SSS members are required to register with the agency’s website --- My.SSS or www.sss.com.ph -- to avail of the new RTPC program.
“We have a new program sa SSS, this is the real time posting of contribution or what we call RTPC. Actually today is the roll out January 16, 2018. So ang requirement po dito is kailangang mag-register lahat ng mga members natin, so employers including our individual members doon sa My.SSS,” Andrada said.
The program is opened to all members including self-employed, voluntary members, overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), according to her.
“Ang purpose po nito ay para immediately after validation ng payment niya (member) mapo-post na yung contributions. Kasi ito after na magbayad siya meron ng acknowledgement,” Andrada said.
Every time they pay, members should present their payment reference number (PRN) they will get after registering with the SSS’s website, she added.
“So we hope that with the real time posting of contributions, mapapabilis din ang payment natin ng benefits. So yu’n ang purpose para maiwasan natin yung mga unposted contributions, delays, problems, complaints regarding sa posting ng contributions,” Adrada said.
Members, particularly those who are self-employed and voluntary members were already informed about the new program, she said.
“They have received text messages from the SSS, kung naka-register na sila, kung na-update na nila yung contact information nila with us informing them that they need to register sa My.SSS,” Andrada said.
All SSS branches are opened to assist members, who have no access with the internet, with the registration process, she added.
“Yung iba wala silang access sa internet so our branches are opened para mag-assist sa kanilang registration. We have our e-centers in our branches to help them out,”
