CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Consular Office in Pampanga located at Robinsons Starmills along Jose Abad Santos Avenue announced on Friday that it is extending office hours to accommodate the huge volume of passport applicants.
DFA Pampanga Officer-in-Charge Edmundo A. Mangubat said they are now opening earlier and closing just a few hours before mall hours for easier and more convenient passport processing.
“We will now open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Mondays to Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Sundays. The office has been opened longer to accommodate passport applicants,” he said.
Mangubat said that the management of Robinsons Starmills has agreed and supports the extension of DFA Pampanga operating hours.
“I have sought the help of Robinsons Starmills through its Mall Manager Lei Estaris-Belmonte to add more chairs to ensure the convenience of all applicants especially the elderly, pregnant women, and people with disabilities. Good thing Robinsons Starmills has been very cooperative in facilitating concerned matters,” he said.
“I have also instructed my security guards to secure the Candaba Gate as the clock strikes at 9:00 am as this is where bulk of applicants pass," Mangubat said. (JTD)
