Orejas hosts CLTV36 show

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- One of the most prolific and multi-awarded journalists in the region, Tonette Orejas, is set to host CLTV36’s “Hamon Central Luzon”.
Orejas has been recognized as the top correspondent of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Her stories range from insurgency, crimes, corruption, agriculture, agrarian reform, labor, environment, basic services, gender, human rights and disasters.
Her many awards include one from the Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA), which cited her for editorial excellence in local journalism, one of the four new awards started in 2004.
In 2002, she was named Most Outstanding Kapampangan in Print Journalism.
In 2007, she was named Most Outstanding Fernandino for Mass Media. The awards recognized the role of local journalists in community development.
Orejas brings into Hamon Central Luzon fair, balanced, truthful and incisive journalism. She is one of the few women journalists in the Pampanga Press Club.
Watch out for Orejas in Hamon Central Luzon, one of CLTV36's longest-running public affairs shows, which airs every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30 p.m.
