Elected members of the board are Levy Laus, Renato Romero, Jim Jimenez, Terasa David-Carlos, Jose Bituin, Malou Garbes, Nestor Mangio, Marco Hizon, Jess Nicdao, Catalina Bagasina, Willy Tan, Bong Mah, Ruben Su, Rene Paulo Legaspi and Roland Liwanag.
Laus is currently the chairman emeritus of PamCham, while Romero is the out-going president until the end of 2010.
Romero told Sun.Star that PamCham remains committed to priming countryside business and providing employment to various communities in the city through the development of its members' business opportunities.
"The election of our board of directors and the continuous support of our members is a clear indication that countryside business is vibrant in Pampanga and that we can chart further achievements of goals we may set in the future," Romero said.
He said PamCham will continue with its goal of being the single and unified voice of the business community in Pampanga.
The group, he said, will also continue to adhere to its corporate social responsibility of being able to address the needs of its immediate community.
PamCham's community rescue team, bamboo propagation campaign and equalizing business and eco-needs are gaining popularity within both the sphere of the political arena and the grassroots level, according to Romero.
"PamCham continues to evolve and with the support of its members will continue to achieve more for Pampanga," Romero said, adding the new board of directors would be electing the new officials of PamCham for the coming year anytime this month.
The election was facilitated by PamCham election chairman Romeo Torno and assisted by Marilou Ramos Tolentino, along with members Tony Koh, Nestor Esteban and CG Garcia. (IOF)
