Landicho's companion, Lorenzo Natividad Nunag, 51, of Barangay Burot, Capas, Tarlac, on the other hand, was seriously injured and is now undergoing treatment at the Mount Carmel Medical Center in San Fernando City.
Senior Superintendent Nicanor Targa, Clark Security and Fire Department chief, said the victims were traveling towards the Clark main gate when their vehicle suddenly swerved and struck an electric post.
The sports car the victims were riding caught fire because of the impact, Targa said. Further investigation was ongoing Thursday to determine the cause of the incident.
Targa advised motorists to be "extra-careful" and observe traffic rules when entering the Freeport to avoid accidents. (Reynaldo G. Navales)
