CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Kapampangan Development Foundation (KDF), in partnership with the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) and the Department of Agriculture (DA) Region III, is giving free coconut seedlings for Pampanga and Central Luzon farmers who are willing to intercrop.
This as KDF, a non-government civic service group, is now set to plant an additional one million coconut trees in Central Luzon as supplement to its earlier initiative of planting one million fruit trees in various provinces of the region using certified seeds.

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- A 47-year-old man and his live-in partner died while a seven-year-old girl miraculously survived when the car they were riding accidentally collided to an armored van along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Telabastagan, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Sunday.

CLARK FREEPORT – Senior officials from the 21 members-economies of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) on Monday kicked off the First Senior Officials’ meeting (SOM-1) at the Clark and Subic Freeport Zones to discuss several cooperation mechanisms on a wide range of areas in the region.
Department of Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary Charles Jose said the SOM-1, which serves as the first comprehensive Senior Officials’ Meeting for this year, will be composed of more than 30 working groups and committee-level meetings, which will run from January 26 to February 7.

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- At least P1 million worth of suspected shabu were confiscated during a buy-bust operation conducted by agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA3) at Barangay Pulong Maragul, Angeles City and SM City Annex, North Edsa Quezon City, Friday.

ANGELES CITY -- Councilor Bryan Matthew Nepomuceno submitted recently a proposed ordinance before the City Council granting amnesty on interest of delinquent real property taxes for Angeles City.
Nepomuceno, a member of the committee on Finance and Appropriations, and Ways and Means, said that the measure is intended to aid the city government in its efforts to collect unrealized revenues from unpaid real property taxes. GUAGUA -- The Municipal Government of Guagua purchased some P2,396,814 worth of life-saving equipment for flood-prone and vulnerable residents through the Bottom-up Budgeting (BuB) program, a statement from the Municipal Government said.
