CLARK FREEPORT -- Low Cost Carrier leader Air Asia Berhad on Friday relaunched its four times a week Clark-Kuala Lumpur flights.

Clark International Airport Corporation president and chief executive officer Emigdio "Dino" Tanjuatco III said the return of Air Asia to Clark is a welcome development, saying, "We hope their stay would be permanent."

Students benefit from computer literacy program

PORAC -- At least 95 young people, including out-of-school youths here benefited from the recent computer literacy program of the Philippine Army's Civil Military Operations Group and the developers of the P75- billion Alviera township project in Porac town.

The 95 students and out-of-school youths from underprivileged communities in Pampanga "have leveled up on computer literacy and are now part of the online world," said the Leonio Land Holdings Inc. Tricycle driver nabbed for illegal drugs

Kidnapped boy rescued, kidnappers arrested

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- A 12-year-old student who was kidnapped on Friday was safely rescued from his kidnapper during a raid in their supposed safehouse in Barangay Gugo, Samal, Bataan resulted in the arrest of the alleged leader and his cohort.

In a press conference Saturday, Senior Superintendent Melvin Ramon Buenafe, Deputy Regional Director for Operation and officer-in-charge of Tarlac Police Provincial Office (TPPO), identified those arrested as Alvin Samar, 33, and Freddie Aguilar, 29, both residents of Bataan.

2 suspected shabu pushers arrested

PDEA3 director Jeoffrey Tacio, identified the arrested as Jeffrey Gadia, 44, a resident of Sta. Teresita of said city and Jamil Sidic Ampatuan, 19, of Angeles City. The two were arrested after selling one small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet suspected to be methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu to a police officer acting as a poseur buyer.

P200,000 worth of shabu seized
