Lebin said upon reaching the said barangay, one of the passengers who was armed with .38 caliber revolver ordered the driver at gunpoint to stop the bus and declared the heist.

He said the suspect shot Rolando Benito, 39, the bus conductor and got his collection in front of his pocket.

After getting the cash collection from the conductor, the suspect alighted from the bus and fled towards unknown direction.

The bus driver immediately brought Benito to the Pampanga Medical Santos Hospital in Guagua and reported the incident to police authorities.

Guagua police tried to track down the suspect but failed to locate him. (Ric Sapnu)
