MABALACAT -- A musical concert, which was conceptualized to benefit orphans, was slated on November 28 at 6 p.m. in Xevera Mabalacat.
Julian Savard, Miss Teen Philippines 2006 and Miss Mabalacat 2006, said concert would benefit the Send the Light Orphanage in Barangay Mawaque here and the Home and Abroad Ministries.

Savard and her mom, Lei Angeles, initiated the "benefit concert" themed "You Can Save A Life."
The concert will feature artists like Barbie Almalbis, Salamin and other local bands.
The local bands include Lunchbox, Euphoria, Dialogo, Pulse Rhythm, Neophytes, 5 Against the Wall, Corsage, Porco Rosso, Lo3er, and others.
Angeles said that tickets are sold P100 each. "One ticket can already feed four hungry children," she added.
The Home and Abroad Ministries, headed by Reverend Roy and Ann Humphrey, has an existing feeding program in several communities in Angeles City, Bacolor and Mabalacat in Pampanga, and Bamban and Capas towns in Tarlac.
Savard said the ministry recently distributed relief goods to flood victims in the towns of Arayat, Masantol, and others.
Citing a bible verse, Angeles said children deserve decent life and basic needs like shelter, food and clothing.
