Nepomuceno said the barangay health office has already detected some six dengue cases among the 30,000 residents currently residing in Barangay Cutcut.

He added that the project dubbed "Handog Pasasalamat Mula sa Nepo" is being shouldered by his family with no cost to the City Government, adding that this is one way of assuring the health and protection of their immediate constituents.

Nepomuceno added that he will also urge his fellow barangay chairmen to do the same in their respective barangays.

“Ang programa nating ito ay isang pasasalamat sa mga kabarangay natin na walang sawang sumusuporta sa aking pamilya. Makakaasa sila ng tuloy tuloy na serbisyo at paglilingkod mula sa amin,” Nepomuceno said.

His wife Cecile said that aside from the fumigation, their family has also donated various medicines for the benefit of the residents.

She said with the help of the barangay council, the delivery of basic services such as providing free medicines is an all-year long program of his husband and the barangay council.

Mrs. Nepomuceno added that his son, a first term City Councilor will also continue providing free legal aide to Angelenos, a project which they started with the assistance of some members of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines-Angeles City chapter.

Mrs. Nepomuceno is also active in other civic works such as feeding programs, and clean and green projects.(Chris Navarro)
