Shalom-A A +A

"SHALOM" is the Hebrew word for peace.
Like sacred silence, "shalom" evokes the tranquility we seek amidst the noise of the world.
Moving to calm our racing heartbeats is the soft and golden sound of silence. More often, banging booms and brouhaha of festivals may upset a midlifer like myself. Away from the maddening crowd, verily, I stride on the walkway of quietude.
Like the November stillness, we may opt for its solace and serenity. Falling orange and green leaves spread across our pathway of rest and relaxation. Standing on the terra firma of a gentle mode, thence, the cool winds comfort our wandering thoughts.
Yes… ‘shalom’ comforts a weary shoulder and hugs our inner child.
Mother Nature calls us home. Resting in a sanctuary which encompasses the enclave of stressors, we feel a gentle breeze on our faces. How Mother Gaia (Nature) in our Kapampangan landscape touch our being.
Tapping our endless energy means taking time to discover a reflective state of the mind. Renewing our healthy rhythm, we may allow the sedate flow of happiness to pour into yearning heart.
However, in case of recurring crisis and times of anxiety, you may seek help from this caring counselling group. Reintegration for Care and Wholeness in Quezon City (www.rcwcares.org). Today in the last golden days of September, may you and I find the peace of our choice. May your family and true friends be blessed always with calmness of harmony and respect for one another.
May you have a serene, simple and silent hour wherein you will raise up your self-love, thereon, maximimize your talents to find wholeness, fullness and kindness.
