SUCCESSFULLY ascending the Himalayan summit in Nepal reflects how a leader shows ‘muy excellente’ (excellent) climbing skills.
Mountaineering can obliterate persons of weaker hearts and stamina.
Distinguished leaders of this group must know how to go up the rugged terrain of catastrophe. She must smash through the wall of logistical, practical and geographical hardships. Ultimately, she leads her team of varied talents and personalities in stamping their boots through the peak of success and surging triumph.
Zooming in Angeles City, we see a leader filled with ‘muy excellente’ traits. Cutcut Kapitana Cecil Cuyugan Nepomuceno profiles such courage. Standing tall on the summit of achievement, she shines with the values of honesty and compassion.
Emphasizing these ideals, she says:
“I call on our citizenry, men and women of honorable intentions who have the highest principles of harmony, goodwill and compassion.
You and I are blessed daughters and sons of Cutcut, Angeles City.
Honesty, integrity and upright principles are what we uphold.
Creating the noble public service code from sunrise to sundown is our common mission.”
Serving her constituent and rallying her barangay mates to ensure that transparency and good governance reign in the heart of Angeles City ; truly, she makes a difference.
Believing in her total and benevolent stewardship, people turn to her for assistance. Herein are their words of appreciation:
Mang Ben K., a 50-year-old driver in Cutcut says, ”Mapaniaup yang lider… metung abac kemustan nakami… kukutang na makananu yang makasaup kekeming drivers. (She is helpful. One morning she came and asked us how she can help drivers like us).”
Marylou T., a 40-year-old high school teacher in Cutcut utters this sentiment, “Edukasyon ya ing kailangan tamung y punla para keng daratang a bukas…ing buong pamilya nang Mam Cecil sasaup la careng pacacalulung anac … atiu la keng puso mi.
(Education is our precious seed for a progressive tomorrow… the family of Mam Cecil assists poor and out-of-school youth. They live in our hearts).”
Yes! People from different walks of life are inspired by her. Enlightened leaders like Cecil C. Nepomuceno steer us to soar high to the apex of summum bonum (highest good).
You and I are one in our pursuit of goodness.
Moving together as co-journeyers in the terra firma of bravery, we all can transcend the rocky walls of doubts, darkness and devastation. Like the brave mountaineers who surmounted the majestic Mount Everest in the Himalayas in Nepal, we can optimize our talents and reach out to our sisters and brothers.
To all our readers, for all times, may the sunlight of blessings sparkle in your golden hearts!
