WHAT inspires your spiritual joys?
Do you want to touch the keystone of sacred peace?
Answering these questions means a backbreaking questing journey for many of us. Crisscrossing the pathways, byways and hills; truly, you and I yearn to ascend the mountain top of tranquility and total redemption.
Voila! Today, I am happy to share with you, our dear readers, my discovery of an inner sanctum. Awash with simplicity, abounding with greenery and a-thriving with golden sacredness, sanctity and salvation, it beats in unforgettable pax (peaceful) rhythm. Imprinting my heart with great joy and stamping my soul with spiritual bliss; verily, I am home. What a sacred mountain!
BANAL A BUNDUK… BANAL A BUNDUK… BANAL A BUNDUK.
Your name awakens my voice to sing in praise, uplifts my mind in wisdom, overwhelms my soul with reverence. Yes, overflowing with ineffable bliss, your winds touch my being with comfort. Stepping on your grounds is akin to reaching Paradise on earth.
Banal a Bunduk is nestled on the slopes of Orchard Village, Ayala, Magalang, Pampanga; encompassed in the loving arms of Mt. Arayat, it is the chosen site of the ‘Dalan Ning Krus”, the fourteen stations of the Cross. Each station is made of concrete. They are spread along the mountain path. The project is a loving expression of gratitude to Jesus Christ and is in its 70% completion phase.
Mayor Pastor Guiao/Mrs. Becky Guiao
Last September, this loving couple, former Mayor Pastor and Becky Guiao invited me to the blessing of their resort place where the Fifth Station of the Cross is located. Healing priest Fr. Sol Gabriel blessed the place as family, kin and Soroptomist friends gathered in a happy yet reverential mode.
Ms. Becky Guiao stated:
“Celebrating this blessed day, my husband Pastor and six children, are one in giving thanksgiving to our Lord Jesus Christ. He guides, grants and gives his manifold blessings for all times. Let us experience our Lord’s love while communing with the greenery of the pastoral world.”
Joyfully, this loving couple is also a gracious host. As their guest, I felt their distinct hospitality.
Furthermore, their best friend, Ms. Bing Feliciano, a spiritual person, enthused:
“Do visit the Banal a Bunduk for your peaceful sojourn.
If you are seeking comfort, climb up the Banal a Bunduk… if you yearn to rest your desolate heart drive up to the Banal a Bunduk… if you long for unending peace, go to Banal a Bunduk. Please assist us in completing the project. You may call me at 09175212464.”
Alleluia! Today I bow my head in worship and I humbly offer this prayer --
Dear Jesus Christ,
‘Thank you for showing me a Paradise on earth,
Seeking your love, I cry with longing,
Please bless us, our families, our world,
Inflame our souls with you unending love and mercy. Amen.’
