Leader Bing Feliciano

-A A +A

ATTENDING the induction ceremonies of the Soroptomist International Luzon Western District last July 4 at the Lewis Grand Hotel, I listened to the meaningful talk of a compassionate and par excellence leader Ms. Bing Feliciano. Herein is an excerpt of her speech:

“Let me share with you the beautiful prayer of St. Theresa, known as the saint of the little ways because she believed in doing the little things in life well and with great love.

This is dedicated to the newly installed officers not only of Magalang and Angeles City but for all officers present here today.

May today there be peace within,
May you trust God that you are where you are meant to be,
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith,
May you use those gifts that you have received and pass on the love that have been given to you,
May you be content knowing you are a child of God,
Let this presence settle into your bones and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love,
It is there for each and every one of us.

To our new set of officers and new Soroptimist members, God will be at work in you. Embrace the challenges, accept the responsibilities and make wise use of your talent and resources. This will be a new season of growth, opportunities and change. We will be praying for all of you.

Before we wind up, allow me to thank all our guests - Gov. Myra Abubakar, her pillars and those from other clubs of West Central Luzon for gracing this most important occasion.

May God bless us all and here is to another successful biennium. Let me now invite you to the buffet table. Thank you.”

Dacal a salamat sterling Bing for sharing with us these meaningful words/prayer.

Spending this Friday with Soroptomists made it an unforgettable July 4 for this writer.

Finale

You and I are one. We long for love, wisdom and peace.

Bravo to Soroptomist International Western Luzon District.

We take our hats off to their good leaders like Bing Feliciano, Becky Guiao, Fredeswinda Serrano, Belen Cunanan, Marivic DS Paras and Maria Teresa Chan and to their members crisscrossing Magalang and Angeles City.
I am proud of the citizens of Magalang and Angeles City. Blessings to you all in this exciting 21st century.

Furthermore, what a beautiful July to behold because it spreads the yellow, blue, green and orange colors to usher in the second half of 2014.

To you our beloved readers, have a blessed Sunday with your family, friends and amiable community neighbors.
