Setting up home office at PhilExel compound here, the Clark Powerstar office is the third branch to open this year. Powerstar Trading also has its main office in Makati and a branch in Cebu.

“Our presence here is an affirmation of the potential of Clark and that there is a market for services that we offer. Powerstar will make a mark here as the first company to offer world-class products for particular needs of industries here,” Capule-Wong said.

The company specializes in industrial, marine and aviation lubricants such as diesel engine lubricants, hydraulic oils, gear oils, greases, open gear lubricants, hydraulic fluids, jet oils, engine lubricants and circulating oils among others.

Powerstar also offers Medicinal White Oils, Marcol, and Primol that provide ideal solutions in the host of cosmetic, medicinal and pharmaceutical applications.

Powerstar Trading Incorporated traces its history to its parent company, Copystar Office Automation, a retailer of reconditioned photocopier machines who has been carrying Exxon Chemical Fluids since 1988.

Subsequent to the ExxonMobil merger in 2000, Copystar was appointed as the exclusive trader of its chemical fluids and remained as major player in the circulation of ExxonMobil products.

Three years later the merged entity, ExxonMobil Philippines, shifted the marketing and distribution of its locally owned businesses.

Powerstar Trading Incorporated is the authorized distributor of ExxonMobil in the Philippines. It represents both Mobil and Esso brands of premium mineral and synthetic lubricants for industrial, marine and aviation sectors. It also represents ExxonMobil Chemical brands for various applications.

“Our stay here marks that start of heavy and light industry based services and solutions,” Capule-Wong said. (IOF)
