CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Evangelist Pastor Apollo Quiboloy has endorsed the Association of Laborers and Employees (ALE) Party-list during its annual Global Thanksgiving and Worship Presentation Sunday.
ALE is a workers' group founded in Pampanga, which has evolved into a party-list and was authorized to participate in the coming polls by the Commission on Elections.
ALE Party List first nominee and incumbent Pampanga second district Board Member Catalina Bagasina was present during the endorsement, together with other nominees, lawyer Erlyn De Leon and Mitzi Magtoto.
More than 50,000 followers of Quiboloy’s Kingdom of Jesus Christ the Name above Every Name congregation have witnessed the endorsement, which coincided with the pastor’s announcement of his presidential bet.
Bagasina thanked the pastor for his choice of the party list group.
“Masaya po ako at na-endorso ni Pastor Quiboloy ang ALE bunsod po ng kaniyang paniniwala sa mga adbokasiya at layunin nito para sa kapakanan at proteksiyon sa mga karapatan ng mga manggagawa,” she quipped.
The Kingdom of Jesus Christ votes as a bloc and claims membership of seven million-members worldwide. (DPL)
