Philippines longest mall holds 1st fun run

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The country's longest mall, SM City Pampanga, over the weekend held its first ever Fun Run -- a run to a healthy and fit lifestyle.
As early as 5:30 a.m., health enthusiasts jogged their way to the country's longest mall to participate in a friendly race along the mall's vicinity.

A total of 135 participants joined the run, which started at 6 a.m.
Race categories include the 5-kilometer, 10 kilometer and 15 kilometer. The weather held up the entire morning, making it a perfect day to jog around the almost kilometer stretch of the mall's perimeter. The mall holds the record for being the longest mall in the Philippines.
Finishers got prizes from Dickies, Chris Sports, Nail-a-holics, Speedlittle, Pizza Hut, George Optical and Fitness First.
SM City Pampanga Fun Run top finishers for the 5K category are: 1st place, Jacob Nabong (19 mins 10sec); 2nd, Jeffrey Valencia (21mins 32sec); 3rd, Boy De Guzman (25mins 40sec); 10K category - 1st, Alfredo Salunga (40mins 33sec); 2nd, Happy Razote (46mins 18sec); 3rd, Jernard Capati (53mins 51sec); 15K category - 1st, Cris Coronel (1hr 7mins 43 sec); 2nd, Jesus Tenorio (1hr 12mins 34 sec); 3rd Joven Gozum (1hr 18min 29sec).
