CDC chair leads CILA’s 16th annual golf tourney

CLARK FREEPORT — Clark Development Corporation (CDC) chair and officer-in-charge Eduardo Oban Jr. led the ceremonial tee-off of the Clark Investors and Locators Association (CILA) 16th Anniversary Golf Tournament at the Mimosa Golf and Country Club here on Thursday.
Joining Oban were CDC Director Dr. Frankie Villanueva, CILA President Jeff Pradhan (GGLC Peregrine), CILA Vice Chairman Rene Philip Banzon (SIA Engineering, and CILA Director Tetsuya Kuze (Yokohama Tire Phils).
CILA Members Assistance Sr. Officer Joanne Pangilinan said the annual event is a time for members to get together and discuss business trends and issues within and outside of the Freeport in a day of recreation.
She added that proceeds from the tournament will be used to fund projects of CILA for seminars and socio-civic programs for its immediate community. Aside from serving as the official voice of locators and businessmen inside the Freeport, CILA also undertakes community programs like medical missions to its immediate community.
Winners of the golf tournament include for Class D: champion - Nor Salas and runner-up - James Spore; for Class C: champion - Pizara and runner-up - Roger Tamayo; for Class B: champion - Justin Flores and runner-up - Shin Young Ho; for Class A: champion - Joven Liwanag and runner-up - Lee Jong Min; for ladies category: ladies champion - Moon Kyung Wo, overall low gross - Moon Kyung Won and overall low net - Kim Young Soo.
Other awards were the Nearest to the Pin bagged by Rey Lapid, Longest Drive by Moon Kyung Won and Accurate Drive by Jun Canlas.
