CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Pampanga Association of Water Districts (PAMAWD) will host their Golf Fellowship Tournament for a cause this November 6 in a bid to fund their various
community programs and civic projects in the province.
President Jorge Gumba said that the event aims to give member water districts the chance to help in the group's fund efforts through the golf tournament to be held at Bevery Place here.
"The group hopes to start some of its corporate social responsibility programs, tree planting and other welfare programs for immediate communities through this effort," Gumba said.
The PAMAWD represents 13 water utilities in the province and serves a united voice for the water service industry in Pampanga. The group also serves as council for mutual cooperation and cascading of good programs for water utilities.
The golf tournament is headed by Mabalacat Water District manager Francis Dimaliwat.
Gumba said the PAMAWD will continue with its skills and development programs and will foster better cooperation with water districts on the implementation of community and social programs and projects.
The tournament fee is set at P2,500 while tee off time is from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
