THE longest and oldest-running relay-run honoring our World War II Heroes will again traverse the infamous 1942 Death March Trail on April 9 and 10, 2012.
Known as the Araw ng Kagitingan Ultra-Marathon (A Tribute To World War II Veterans), the ultra-marathon was started by 29 running buffs of the San Fernando Runners Unlimited Inc. (SAFER RUN), almost two months after the historic People Power EDSA Revolution in 1986, that toppled the reign of a dictator --- the late Pres. Ferdinand Marcos.
