LUBAO -- President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will be the keynote speaker in the Go Negosyo seminar of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) on June 16 at St. Agustine Parish Multi Purpose Hall.
DTI Regional Director Blesila Lantayona told Sun.Star in an interview that the seminar is expected to be attended by some 400 small and medium enterprises (SMES) from Pampanga's second district towns.

"We will have a series of modules on the putting up of business and basic seminars on marketing and financing," Lanatayona said.
The seminar will also be highlighted by the presence of Joey Concepcion III, the presidential consultant on entrepreneurship and one of the founders of the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship.
Through the Go Negosyo seminar, local entrepreneurs and those interested in knowing how to start a business will have the rare opportunity of learning excellent tips and ideas from experts and successful entrepreneurs from Metro Manila.
Facilitated by entrepreneur mentors, the seminar touches on the key principles of starting a business (mastery of self, mastery of opportunity, and mastery of enterprise).
The seminar's framework focuses less on theory and more on practical, informative, and useful strategies in marketing, product development, and financial management. Sessions are interactive and cover learning distilled from case studies and actual experiences.
The event is also to be attended by speakers from well known business establishments like French Baker, Mekeni Food Products, CDO Foods Corporation, Folded and Hung, Mang Inasal, and Bello Medical Group, among others.
"There will also be booths for our Otop (One-Town-One-Product) products and other government agencies like the Department of Agriculture who will show products related to SMEs," Lantayona said.
