LINGAYEN -- The third leg of the Petron Women's Beach Volleyball Tournament will commence on Friday at the Lingayen beach.
The tournament is hosted by the PNP Directorate for Integrated Police Operations-Northern Luzon headed by Police Director Leopoldo Bataoil.

The two-day sports event will be held at Purok Marcela Resort owned by the Bataoils located right beside the back of the provincial police headquarters.
Bataoil said this is in line with youth sports development program intertwined with the anti-crime and environmental campaigns of the Philippine National Police.
On Saturday at 8 a.m., Bataoil will turn over to the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office led by Provincial Director Percival Barba two motorized bancas and a troop carrier for PNP seaborne patrol and disaster rescue operation.
"This is part of our campaign to save the Lingayen Gulf from dynamite fishing and other mode of illegal fishing that are destroying our marine resources," Bataoil remarked.
This is also in support to the program of Pangasinan Governor Amado Espino Jr., the "Save the Lingayen Gulf, Save our Rivers."
Meanwhile, the beach volleyball tournament will kick off this morning with a motorcade.
The finals and awarding ceremony will be held on Saturday.
Among the competing volleybelles are the teams from the Ateneo, UP-Dasmarinas, Philippine School of Business Administration (PSBA)-Quezon City, Philippine Women's University, University of Luzon located in Dagupan City, and other local schools. (LCMY/Sunnex)
