City Tourism Officer Rose Teng-Mejia said the boats, which are docked at the private wharf San Marino Village at Bonuan Catacdang, leave every hour.

Except on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday where there will be no trips, daily cruise starts at 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. then 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.

Interested groups are advised to book early at the City Tourism Office located at the ground floor of the City Museum building.

Walk-ins at the wharf or docking area will be included in the cruise on a first come, first serve basis. The minimum number of riders per boat is 15 and maximum of 20.

The City Tourism Office is now coming up with cruise package rates.

Meanwhile, encouraged with the positive feedbacks after the launching of the river cruise, Lim is planning to include stopovers in the cruise as added attractions.

“Part of the cruise package is also a tour at the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR); the Bangus Processing Plant; the Tondaligan Park where the McArthur Shrine will be relocated including the West Central Elementary School’s Home and Economics Building, which used to be the General’s Headquarters during the Liberation of the Philippines from Japanese Forces; and the old Church where Leonor Rivera (Dr. Jose Rizal’s love interest) and Eng’r. Henry Kipping received their vows of marriage,” he said. (LCMY/Sunnex)
