A heat-sealed transparent sachet containing shabu, which was the subject of the buy-bust operation, 13 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu, and five marked one-hundred peso bills were seized from the suspect’s possession.
Ominga said the contents of confiscated plastic sachets were positively identified to be shabu by the Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory in Urdaneta City.
PDEA-Pangasinan Agent Mark Marinas said in an interview over at Aksyon Radyo Pangasinan that the confiscated shabu weighed about five grams with a street value of between P30,000-P35,000.
He said Tira is categorized as a big-time drug pusher operating in Urdaneta City. The drug pushers he supplies allegedly retail at other areas in the province of Pangasinan.
Although most of the recent arrests/accomplishments of PDEA-Pangasinan were in this city, Marinas clarified that the drug problem in the city is not alarming. The buy-bust operations they implemented yielded positive results.
Meanwhile, he called on the people of Pangasinan to report to suspicious activities to the authorities. He assured that identities of those who report such activities will be treated with confidentiality. (Liway C. Manantan-Yparraguirre/Sunnex)
