Radio announcer hacked to death by driking buddies

TAYUG -- A male radio announcer in Pangasinan was hacked to death by his driking companions Thursday morning allegedly over unpaid "services."
Police said a farmer discovered the body of Rizalino Salinas, 46, an announcer of dwRS Radyo ng Bayan, at a ricefield in Barangay Trenchera here wearing a white shirt and an underunwear.
The victim sustained multiple hacked wounds in the neck, face and on his hands, said Tayug police chief Gaspar Dacpano.
Authorities arrested the suspects identified as Isagani Alina, 18, and one JM, a minor, both residents of said barangay.
Police also took custody of Leo Cabanizas, 19, a drinking companion of the victim and the suspects, but was asleep, when the hacking incident happened, due to drunkenness.
With the help Orlandao Arqueza, the farmer who discovered the victim's body, investigators traced the blood drips from where the victim was discovered to an abandoned house where the drinking session was held.
Police suspected that the hacking incident transpired in the house as they found that bolo that was allegedly used in murder.
Dacpano said Cabanizas revealed to investigators that one of the suspects sent a text message inviting the victim to join them.
Cabanizas alleged that he fell asleep due to drunkenness but was awakened due to the commotion. He then saw the suspects hacking the victim.
Dacpano said the suspects had admitted the crime alleging that they got irked when the victim failed to pay them for their "services."
Murder cases are being prepared against the suspects, police said.
