Labor office, Dagupan to launch emergency job program

To qualify, the temporary employees should be residents of the city's coastal barangays, especially those hardest-hit by the onslaught of recent typhoons and by what the locals call gawat (hard times.)
Pangasinan wins bid to host 2012 Palarong Pambansa

Pangasinan bested three other provinces, including Laguna, Occidental Mindoro, and Marikina City after a final presentation was held on Thursday before the Palarong Pambansa 2012 technical committee at the Department of Education (DepEd) central office.
