"She did a very good job given all the limitations in that particular condition," he said.
Like in other places in the country, political leaders in Pangasinan are jumping into Liberal Party after Noynoy accepted the challenge and declared his intention to run for president.
Leading the first batch of Pangasinense politicians who joined the recent mass oathtaking before the Liberal Party were former governor now second district Representative Victor Aguedo Agbayani, former Vice Governor Oscar Lambino, and Alaminos City Mayor Hernani Braganza.
Agbayani and Lambino were the Lakas-CMD provincial chairman and vice chairman during their term. Braganza held a high position in the party.
Agbayani and Lambino will be seeking their old posts in the coming 2010 elections.
Meanwhile, Braganza said in one of his earlier interviews that he had no choice but to seek another political party as he would be competing with first district Congressman Arthur Celeste of Kampi in the mayoralty race.
"Governor Espino is a Kampi member and an ally of Congressman Celeste. Definitely, you cannot apply here the so-called equity of the incumbent," he said. (LCMY/Sunnex)
