LINGAYEN -- A member of Burgos Police Station is in hot water for allegedly firing his service firearm over the weekend in front of the police station.
PO3 Federico Singueo, 49, was immediately detained by his co-policemen at the police station detention cell and stayed thereat within the reglamentary period.

He is now restricted within the police station pending the administrative investigation being conducted.
Police Provincial Director Percival Barba commended the police chief of Burgos for his swift and decisive action against his policeman.
“The PNP's (Philippine National Police) Integrated Transformation Program is being fully implemented. Seminars, directives and others are being given to our policemen. However, there is no perfect organization. May mga nagkakamali na miyembro. Ang maganda kapag may nagkamali, hindi ito tino-tolerate,” he said in a radio interview.
Barba said the administrative case will most likely for illegal discharge of Singueo’s firearm.
The subject of the investigation is who owns the firearm, (whether PNP issued firearm or not), was Singueo on-duty, why did he fire his gun and others. (LCMY/Sunnex)
