  1. I’m a chinese american citizen living here in chicago…When i moved to California, i meet an argao, Phil. girl who lived in Tulang, Argao, cebu… She is so beautiful that the first time i see her picture in cebuana girls pen pal in the internet, i decided right away to meet her in Tulang, argao cebu. With my few clothes in my bag, passport and few thousand dollars, i flew to manila, then cebu and i asked people how to get to Argao. I rode taxi to place called south terminal from mactan airport and rode the bus and stop at the place called Taluot as per advice by the bus conductor where i can look for a habbal habbal motor going to tulang. It was a very rough ride but the view is sooo spectacular going up to the mountain of Tulang. It’s just like seeing a paradise, filled with greens and the landscape is so beautiful with the fresh breeze of air, is so soothing and relaxing. Upon reaching the highest point, i see the whole ocean views in the west and in the east…sooo gorgeous and breath taking sceneries…best place i ever been in my 48 years of living. But my stay there was cut short because on the day of my fiancee’s sister’s wedding, somebody was gunned down and was killed right beside their house which scares me so much to my bones. Then, the following days, i received infos that some bad guys from other place will come and will rob and kill me prompting my fiancee to let me go home in no time…I really miss her although we keep talking in phone. i wanna go there back because i really love the place…so amazing and so beautiful. I even plan to build a house on top of the mountain but my problem is that nobody even me can guarantee for my safety…I love my girl odessa montejo, the girl who live among the people in Tulang, Argao, the Paradise of Cebu.

  2. To Argao staff, thanks for posting my testimonials about argao which i send before, but unfortunately, my girl friend in Tulang, Argao, Cebu, just recently broke up with me because her old boyfriend is going to marry her by the end of June, 2008. I feel so betrayed, but, i feel happy for her being honest enough to tell me the truth and because i love her so, it’s just fair that i should let her go and move on with my life. It broke my heart but i think, i will be fine. I really love Tulang, Argao and really want to go around to enjoy more in Argao, Phillipines. Hope i can meet a special friend from Argao who can share the fun with me and hopefully become my life partner so i can fulfill my dream of going back to Argao, Cebu…Please text me at 1(530)3000-432 (don’t worry, i will refund your text fee, LOL). Thanks again, to all Argao staff, hope i can meet all of you someday…More power to Argao people and especially to your Mayor!!! God Bless…

  3. I am from Cebu City and have come accross Argao’s website and it is so impressive. I had the opportunity of witnessing the town’s Easter Sunday celebration 2 years ago and it was splendid. This town indeed, though rural in atmosphere, yet has come up with the modern times such as the adoption of IT. Congratulations!

  4. KUDOS to Mayor Edsel Galeos and staff.

  5. I Salute to you Mayor!

Your one of a kind political specie to be protected from “TRAPO’s”. Continue your progressive and sustainable developments.

Congrats to the people behind you to all this great Argao Story.

    Mabuhay Ka!!!

  6. Wow! it’s flattering! people got interested to visit Argao, amazing stories! I really admire the effort of the Mayor and the Eco-tourism personnel. Publishing this site can add the tourism in Argao. I was married last January 2008 to a Taiwanese citizen. The reception of the wedding was there at Pool Garden Resort. It was a nice place and people accomadate well. Everything you ask from them in a minute you can have it. The people inside are friendly and accomodating, you can sleep well by the tunes of the birds and the tiggling of the bamboo sloots and the refreshing air from the see breeze filtered by the leaves of the trees which is really by nature. Thank you!

Argao yes its a bit like heaven, I’m an american having lived in Negros Oriential for five years but once again I’m state side, my heart is in my home even if I’m not a native, my blood will run in philippine soil as someday soon I too will return, I love my brothers and sisters in this troubled but wonderful country, edbarchers@hotmail.com

  9. I’m sure that with the progress experienced by Argawanons, the price of real estate and properties in their place shot up. I just hope this trickles to the benefit of the common tao and not only to a few elites and politicians.

Anyway, congratulations to Mayor Galeos and all true-blooded Argawanons. You make all the Cebuanos in Texas proud.
