1. If ever you go to groceries, make sure you are not hungry, or else you will end up buying more food. And that is a proven tip!
2. If you like buying magazines, you can try borrowing from your friends or from the library (but make sure to return it after rearding).
3. Never waste food! If you think you cannot eat all of it, share it with your husband or your kids.
4. In case of potluck at work, try cooking it by yourself, rather than buying it (that is if you have time to cook).
5. Teaching your children to save money at early age counts.
6. Open a bank account with less fees and do not withdraw money from other ATMs because that will cost you a lot of fortune.
7. Try eating two times a day! I do. I eat brunch and dinner and no in between meals and that is healthier than you think. I know most Filipinos they have merienda but you can omit those (you gain weight eating merienda).

Greetings from New York City !T
Tested and proven tips to beat the inflation:
1. Live below or within your means. Do not buy what you want, buy only what you need.
The three basic things= food, clothing, shelter.
2. Start being green - I eat sweet potato (kamote), ube and brown rice. Plant veggies in your backyard, organic food is the best.
3.Use coupons or go to outlet / wholesale for dry goods.
4.. Work extra if you can.
There is no substitute for hard work. There is dignity with having more than one job.
5. Teach everybody in your household the art of budgeting including the maid.
6. Do things for yourself if you're not paralyzed. Maids are only for the very wealthy.
In the USA, only the very rich and famous have maids. We do everything here even if we are earning 6 figures.
7. Charity begins at home.
8. Use charcoal for cooking instead of LPG.
9. Do not use electrical appliances ie, vaccuum cleaners, washing machine, electric iron -
In short, use your muscles and Go back to the Land.

The application of cost standard systems in the manufacturing sector will control and effectively cost products being sold in the marketplace.
Manufacturing and purchase price variances can be analyzed and capitalized, amortized over a period of time to ease the effect in the marketplace.
Cost rolls can be done every six months to a year in order not to shock the market. Until we initialize this type of system, prices will continue to fluctuate sharply and will create uncertainty in our economy.

1.use public transportation rather than your own private vehicle to save on gas.
2.unplug unused appliances in the house to save electricity
3. cook more in your own kitchen rather than eating out even if it is in the karenderia or fast food, the bills will add up in the long run.
4. or better yet cook food in bulk and just reheat it when meal time, that way you save time and gas.

Rice bran or apa is a good source of fuel. I remember my grandfather who runs a panciteria did not buy any wood or kerosene, rather he design an oven that can be fueled with "apa" and we use it to cover ice we sell so it won't melt. A sack of "apa' is more than enough to cook a week of meals.
