is not advisable to include in your resumes a "personal
section", or personal statistics (except in special cases),
salary information, reasons for leaving jobs or any political
or controversial issues with employers.
Some
of the things to remember:

Don't include anything controversial, political

Place the most important information on the first line or
paragraph since it is read the most

Use bold letters in writing your name, section headings
(to organize information), titles, degrees (if impressive)
to set it off from the rest of the text

Put your name on top of each page of your resume
