There will be peace in Mindanao if only people have respect to each others- religion and principles.
We don't realize that we are only fighting against each other, shading our own brothers
blood.
I know the leaders of these rebels or activist are very educated persons too, why don't you stop the fight?
Mindanao is subject to the Philippine law, why make your own?
If you think that our law is not doing good, or i may say that the law maker is the law breaker..try fight without killing. Protect this place for our common good.
DOn't we realized that the rights of our children and the children of our children will be affected of it. 'til to the last generation.
Killing, or making Mindanao not part of the phillipines is not the solution.
Respect to each other, submission to the law s maybe one of the answer...

I think the situation in Mindanao is against the government, it is a crime and if it is a crime it should be dealt with severe punishment.

Disarmament of MILF/MNLF and other bandits in Mindanao should be the the initial step of development. If this is not done, assume no progress, no project for development can be attained. Poverty in that area will continue..

Muslim is not the predominant religion in Mindanao.
In Mindanao there are actually more Christians than Muslims. There are more Muslims converting to Christianity because of LOVE. Jesus is Love.
When a Muslim get to know the words of God by just reading the Bible, he or she will immediately have doubts about their Koran.
I strongly believe that this people we're just deceived. The government should try to educate this people. Bring them Christianity. Evangelize this people. They are still our brothers.
If you are a Muslim. Try to read the bible and ask yourself. Is Koran the word of God? Just compare. I beg you my brothers. Please. Read your Koran and read our Bible.

There's only one way to ensure that the land of promise can attain its utmost peace and it is by hauling all civilians (Muslims and Christians) out of Mindanao through the courtesy of Sulpicio lines shipping then concentrate them in Malacanang palace (people's palace) then drop bombs every square inch of Mindanao. If this idea sounds crazy to you, then, you're in my side coz there wasn't, isn't and won't be peace that could happen not only in Mindanao but in the whole Philippines.

Its not the religion (really) or political (really) it is MONEY & POWER in short CORRUPTION. If you say it is religion The definition of ISLAM is peace. Do you see peace..If you live by sword, you will die by the sword.

Don't be fooled! Muslims do not make compromises. All these talks lead to nothing. Everybody knows that.

I think the government should appoint a panel of peace negotiator who hails from Mindanao, the one who understands the problem and the root cause of conflict in the region. Many leaders in Mindanao are more qualified and competent in the negotiation process...Rudrigo Duterte, Dongkoy Emano, Loreto
"Leo" Ocampos, Oscar Moreno, Simeon Datumanong, Cong. Abdullah Dimaporo, to name the few of the more credible leaders in this region. I agree with what Art Bonjoc views, that we the people in Mindanao, Muslims, Christians, lumads or whatever tribes we belong, we'll stop heating each other, rather we should stand together and have a common voice for the welfare of our beloved Mindanao not just for us but for the generations to come.

In any country of the world, there can only be one army for the people of that country. Yet in the Philippines several different armies, so called religious groups, communist party and many more radical fighting men and women, oppose the Philippine government and the army that protects it. I have never understood how this can happen in a democratic society. Now if a small group of people goes against the government, they are quickly squashed and brought to trial, but these large radical groups that are trying to overthrow the government, are allowed to terrorize, kill and maim the people and get away with it. Why is the Philippine government even talking to these people, this is insane. These people are not native to the Philippines and should have to live under the same laws that others do. Why are you negotiating with terrorist groups instead of getting rid of them. If they don't like the laws of the Philippines, send them back to the desert where they came from. Don't be so passive as the USA was and allow a radical group to come to your country and blow up the world trade center and kill our people. We even helped train them to fly the planes that killed so many of our own people. Go in and rid the Philippines of this cancer while you can, before they are larger than you are. Osama Ben Laden is backing these groups all over the world and preying on civilized laws that protect the rights of the people. Don't sit there and allow Manila to become a 9/11 all over again. It can and will happen if you don't do something now.
