Bar owner charges CIDG chief for harassment By Robert L. Bacasong
THE owner of Rain Gate Bar in Goldenfield Commercial Complex charged the chief of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Negros Occidental for harassment.
The complainant, Norma Cabahug, said Chief Insp. Eduardo Abaja caused trouble in their establishment around 12:30 a.m. last Friday.
When contacted by Sun.Star Bacolod Sunday, Abaja refused to comment on the complaint.
Cabahug, who reported the incident to Police Station 8, said Abaja, who was drunk, allegedly pushed her without any provocation.
Bar personnel Wing Bertulfo fell down after Abaja pushed him several times, she said.
Not contented, Abaja also shouted, "wa-ay kamo kakilala sa akon; si Major Abaja ako!"
Both complainants suffered minor injuries. |
