Name mediamen Joy urges

NAME them.
Mayor Luzviminda Valdez urged the concerned Bacolodnon who complained against the City Government's hiring of media practitioners as casual or job order employees.
I need their names so that we can investigate them, she said.
Earlier, Engr. Rexdito Balbin, a resident of Phase 6, Barangay Handumanan, sent a letter to Vice Mayor Ramiro Garcia complaining that these mediamen are only seen at the City Hall during pay day.
He added that these mediamen are often heard over the radio stations but failed to name them.
Valdez, however, said she has not received a copy of the letter.
But she clarified that the mediamen employed by the City Government have been required to resign from their jobs with the media entities.
Balbin also sent copies of his letter to Dr. Patricio Tan, head of the People's Graftwatch, and media entities. |
