8-event Inter-La Salle tournament slated By Guillermo C. Tejida III
TO FURTHER camaraderie and ties among the schools embracing the La Salle system, the maiden edition of the Inter-La Salle (High School) Games reels off on Oct. 26 to 30, to be hosted by the University of St. La Salle-Bacolod.
The eight-event friendly skirmishes will be for basketball boys, football boys, lawn tennis boys and girls, swimming boys and girls, and volleyball boys and girls, said Roger Banzuela, sports director of the host institution.
Participating are La Salle Greenhills; De La Salle-Santiago Zobel School; John Bosco College-Bislig, Surigao; La Salle Academy-Iligan; and Bacolod City's St. Joseph's High School, St. Benilde School, and the host, USLS-Integrated School.
Entries fielded in the respective events: basketball boys-JBC-Surigao, SJHS, Greenhills, Zobel, SBS, and USLS-IS; football boys-Greenhills, Iligan, Santiago Zobel, and USLS-IS; lawn tennis boys-Greenhills, Iligan, Santiago Zobel, JBC and USLS-IS;
Lawn tennis girls-JBC and USLS-IS; swimming boys - Greenhills, SJHS, Santiago Zobel, USLS-IS, and SBS; swimming girls-Iligan, SJHS, Santiago Zobel, USLS-IS, and SBS; volleyball boys-JBC, Greenhills, SJHS, Santiago Zobel, and USLS-IS; and in volleyball girls-JBC, SJHS, Santiago Zobel, and USLS-IS. |
