At 10:35 p.m. on the same day, the PDEA operatives conducted a search at the residence of Amir “Omar” Ampaso, 39, of Barangay. Poblacion I, Sagay City.

Armed with a search warrant issued by Judge Rolando Ramirez of the Sagay Municipal Circuit Trial Court, the PDEA agents confiscated four big sachets of shabu weighing 20 grams, six plastic sachets for repacking shabu weighing 12 grams, two bundles of repacking plastics, two pairs of scissors, a weighing scale, one improvised scoop, and P2,020 cash believed to be proceeds of the illegal trade.

At 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, police operatives swooped down on Ampaso’s store located at the Old Sagay Public Market where they recovered one big sachet of shabu weighing five grams, and another two small sachets of shabu weighing two grams.
