Yanson sportsfest slated

THE Vallacar Transit Incorporated will hold inter-Department basketball and volleyball games this month.
Six teams will battle for the title in the competition, said Rolando Marañon, tournament official.
The teams are Operation, GRD/Machine, Manufacturer, Machine, Mafea and Tebbap.
Marañon said the tournament is part of the yearly activities given by the Yanson families for their employees to enjoy and develop camaraderie among them.
It also aims to develop friendship and physical fitness among their workers.
The activity is also made possible through the efforts of Maning Lauron, basketball coordinator; Joel Borromeo, company chairman of the Vallacar Transit Inc; and Rainier Perales, overall chairman.
