SG falsifies explosive official's signature
By Roberto L. Bacasong

A SECURITY guard reportedly falsified the signature of an officer of the Firearms and Explosives Security Agencies and Guard Supervision Section (Fesagss).

The falsification of Fesagss personnel PO2 Gary Buaron's signature was discovered by an employee of the Social Security System when the security guard applied for the renewal of his permit to carry firearms.

However, Buaron refused to identify the name of the security guard who falsified his signature while they are still conducting an investigation.

He said criminal charges will be filed against the security guard as soon as they will finish their probe.

He admitted it is the first time that his signature was falsified.

He said he believes the applicant has not attended the training course as part of the requirements.

As this developed, SSS already communicated with Buaron to personally declare his signature was falsified.

Records show the application form of the security guard has a Control No. of 03-03-98.

Counter measures

With this, Buaron will visit SSS every week as part of their preventive measures to avoid the same incident.

The security guards should secure their clearances from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), PNP and the court.

Applicants are also required to undergo a Neuro Psychological Test. Thereafter, the Bacolod City Police Office will issue an order payment which will be paid at the Land Bank of the Philippines.

Post-to-post

Moreover, the Fesagss will continue their post-to-post inspection next month to various security agencies as well as their members.

Buaron said Camp Crame required them to conduct an inspection.
