Comelec reshuffling set this week
By Avelyn Z. Agudon

THE looming reshuffling among elections officers in Negros Occidental will take effect this week.

Lawyer Marsha Cordero, provincial election supervisor, said the reshuffling would maintain impartiality in the forthcoming election in May 10.

Cordero earlier said the reshuffling would also affect Bacolod election registrar Intaco Rambit if the selective poll automation will push through. Lawyer Daisy Real from Iloilo-Comelec is being eyed as his replacement.

The towns and cities that will have new election officers soon are San Carlos, Sagay, Escalante, Silay, Bago, Sipalay, Kabankalan, La Carlota, Talisay, Toboso, Calatrava, Don Salvador Benedicto, Murcia, Isabela, San Enrique, Binalbagan, Ilog, Cauayan, Candoni and Hinobaan.

Those who will be retained are Phoebus Teruel in E.B. Magalona; Jovenciano de la Fuente, Victorias City; Joel Samillano, Pontevedra; Rodel Gonzales, Himamaylan City; Juliet Dioquino, La Castellana; Romeo Palma, Moises Padilla; Elmer Era, Valladolid; Jessie Suarez, Cadiz City; Purita Ferrer, Manapla; and Ma. Theresa Parroco, Pulupandan.
