Host squad prevails in Kasibulan Predators Cup

HOST Carlos Hilado Memorial State College booters grabbed the all age-group divisions of the Negros Occidental Football Association-sponsored Kasibulan-Predators Cup 2004 over the weekend at the CHMSC football pitch in Talisay City.

The CHMSC squad conquered the 6-8 age-group category during the weekend tournament.

The Matab-ang Elementary School and the Catabla Elementary School, on the other hand, settled for the second and third place, respectively.

The host squad also prevailed in the 9-10 age-group category followed by Catabla and the Dos Hermanas Elementary Schools, which finished second and third place.

In the 11-12 age-group category, the CHMSCians were crowned as the top finisher over other competitors along with EELMS and Matab-ang ES which ended up in the second and third slots.

The competition that came after the successful southern legs were participated by 55 five teams in the city.

The Philippine Football Federation and Kasibulan-Grassroots Football Program Chairman Marcilino Carpio, along with Ninfa Treyes, PID-OIC head of the City Schools Division of Talisay graced the activity.

On the other hand, Ronnie de las Alas, Administered Training Leading to the Empowerment of Talisay Athletes head, gave the inspirational message.

NOFA president and 4th District Rep. Carlos Cojuangco thanked the city of Talisay under Mayor Anthony Lizares, Talisay Football Club and the CHMSC community for their support to the program. JSG
