Guv joins breakfast prayer fellowship
By Erwin Ambo S.Delilan

GOVERNOR Joseph Marañon will attend today the 7:30 a.m. Bacolod Breakfast Prayer Fellowship at a fastfood chain on Luzuriaga and Gatuslao streets, Bacolod City.

Organized by convenor Dr. Greg Tingson, the governor will talk about the Pala-Pala Development Project and the status of the relocation program in Cabugwason area, Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod.

Provincial Information Officer Marlin Sanogal said among the topics the governor will discuss include the proposed construction of the P3 million Pala-Pala Food Terminal that will house displaced fish and fruit vendors in barangays 6, 8 and 9, the display of the main local produce by the 32 towns and cities, agri-products of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist and the famous Pala-Pala restaurants.

The governor will present the idea of constructing trade and convention centers in the area with a park in the middle.

The rest, Sanogal said, will be up to the governor and interested investors.
About 922 squatter-families previously occupied the 10-hectare area.

On February 2, another set of dialog will be conducted at the University of St. La Salle aimed at giving Negrosanons the opportunity to suggest on what will be the best thing to do in the area.

The dialog is also organized by USLS.
