Rodolfo dela Cruz, 49, of Barangay 1, Bacolod City sustained injuries at the back of his head and left knee when a Toyota Tamaraw FX, color green, bearing plate number 884 allegedly sideswiped him, according to witnesses.
The witnesses, however, failed note the complete number of the vehicle's plate.

Wilfredo dela Cruz, the victim's older brother, said his brother left their home at 3 Sunday to pick-up plastic bottles to be sold at the junkshops.
He said, they started looking for his brother when he failed to return home hours after. The family then coordinated with Police Precinct 2 who informed them of the incident.
The older dela Cruz then proceeded to CLMMRH to identify his brother.
