Pearl Farm establishing biz office in Bacolod By Genalin D. Ducay
THE management of Pearl Farm Beach Resort in Davao City is planning to extend their market in Negros province.
Sales and Marketing manager Kathy Manuel said the plan of establishing the resort's target market are not only concentrated in Bacolod City and the province of Negros Occidental but also to the whole Western Visayas region.
Located in the Samal Group of Islands, the 14-hectare Pearl Farm Beach Resort, charms both local and foreign guests alike with its white sand beaches and a flourishing flora and fauna.
The resort can be reached thru a 45-minute boat ride from Davao City. Pearl Farm Beach used to culture pearls. It is where the whitelipped oysters transported from the Sulu Sea were cultivated for their pink white and gold pearls.
At present, the resort provides clients with a relaxing private retreat. Executive villas, designed from Maranao and Samal ethnic influences, are among the preferred accommodation of guests. Apart from this, vacationists can also choose from deluxe accommodation with 70 guestrooms, suites and cottages on stilts above the sea.
The resort also offers various water sports activities such as wind surfing, water polo, jet and water skiing, banana boat rides and scuba diving.
Manuel also invites newlyweds to try their "dream honeymoon" package. For P18,000, a couple can avail of a three-day and two nights accommodation at the Samal House, an executive villa, two days breakfast and launch for two with one regular dinner. A private dinner for two with complimentary bottle of wine is also an add-on as well as the use of recreational facilities.
