With the theme "Organik na Negros," proponents and organizers hoped that the endeavor would be a step into making Negros Island the "Organic Capital of Asia."

The festival which features a wide array of organic agricultural products displayed in 35 booths, is a partnership between the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental with governors Joseph Marañon and George Arnaiz leading the activity.

It was participated by local government units and private entrepreneurs in Negros.

In recognition of their concerted efforts and invaluable support to the festival, the participants and guest were treated to a socials night at the Negros Occidental Multi-Purpose Activity Center.
